Get a haircut, and get a real job

Those are the wise words that my older sister spoke to me on the phone today while I was telling her my frustrations about trying to find a job.

Just to clarify i'm not having any difficulties finding a 'job' those $12-$15/hr jobs seem to find me just fine, i've had plenty of those opportunities.... but a girl has gotta have some standards right?

As a recent university grad yeah maybe I did have a slightly skewed vision of what it would be like trying to find a job after I graduated. but honestly is it to much to ask for a full time job, that requires a little thought.... I mean, i'm not looking for a job that a high school drop out could do. I want one that challenges me, that I can use my skills and develop new ones.

Anyway this week has been a little depressing as my temp job for September ended and I thought i'd have a permanent position lined up by now.

On the plus side I do have a couple interviews lined up this week that I am really looking forward to... hopefully by next week I will re-enter the work force and once again be a contributing member of society!!!
